Pembahasan
of frequency) mempunyai jenjang urutan sebagai berikut:
always = selalu (100%)
usually = biasanya
often = sering/kerap kali
sometimes = kadang-kadang
seldom = jarang
rarely = jarang
never = tak pernah
Posisi
atau penempatan kata-kata keterangan dalam kalimat berada di
tengah-tengah kalimat (mid-sentence adverb), di awal atau di akhir
kalimat.
Examples :

Sometimes I get up at 5.30
I get up at 5.30 sometimes
Dalam
kalimat positif, yang menggunakan Simple Present Tense dan Simple Past
Tense, kata keterangan (adverb) berada di depan kata kerjanya (verb).
Examples :
He always come to class (simple present)
She finally came to class (simple past)
Jika ada bentuk be dalam Simple Present Tense dan Simple Past Tense, maka kata keterangan (adverb) berada langsung di belakang be.
Examples :
Did John finally finish his work?
Is He usually come late?
Dalam kalimat negative, kata keterangan (adverb) umumnya berada di depan kata kerja negative, kecuali kata always dan ever.
Examples :
She usually doesn’t eat breakfast
I probably won’t go to the meeting
Kata always dan ever berada di belakang kata kerja bantu negative.
Example : She doesn’t always come to class
Kata keterangan (adverb) jugadapat memberi keterangan pada sebuah determiner dan kata ganti (pronoun).
Examples :
He told such a funny story
It is quite an easy job

- Finally, you will notice that the clause answers one of these three adverb questions: How? When? or Why?
